Camden Terrace in Camden was used as the location for a major scene in this musical fantasy celebrating the early ‘breakthrough’ years of Elton John and his enduring musical partnership with Bernie Taupin.
The scene was filmed using vintage cars and a fake phone box.
Local resident, Kate Briere-Edny, remembers them filming last September. She recalls: “the crew was very courteous and everything was left in the same condition as at the start”.
The production company made a generous donation to the Camden Square Residents Association which has all gone to local good causes.
Location Manager, Hannah Lamb said: “the residents of Camden Terrace were incredibly welcoming and helpful”. Hannah went on to say: “we’d also like to offer big thanks to all the people at St Paul’s Church Hall on Camden Square where we based ourselves for the shoot”.
Everyone is looking forward to seeing their street on the big screen.
