The Hollywood nightmare that Episodes lampoons so brilliantly is in fact mostly shot in London – with limited exteriors shot in La La land itself.

The sitcom returns to our screens tonight for series four – at 10pm on BBC2. Counting ourselves among the fans, we’re pleased about the small role we played in the new series, arranging a scene on Macaulay Road in Clapham, Lambeth.

Writer David Crane, who made his name on Friends, admits that many of the characters are generated out of revenge against the worst industry-types he has come across in his career.

Matt LeBlanc, Tamsin Greig and Stephen Mangan are bitterly reunited as the network picks up the dreadful Pucks! To make things worse, LeBlanc’s fortune has just about been wiped out.
