The Daily Mail got itself all turned around in Southwark this week – confusing the location of Pierce Brosnan’s new film shoot.

In an article headed From South London with Love! Pierce Brosnan films action movie Survivor in an abandoned council estate, the UK tabloid suggested Brosnan was filming on the Heygate Estate (in the Walworth area of Southwark). But of course, as anyone with a keen eye could tell, the shoot was in fact on the roof of Albert Barnes House in Southwark’s Newington area. Yes DM, the Heygate is due to be demolished – that’s why it’s not being used as a film location.

We should know: FilmFixer arranged the shoot, and it’s in Southwark, which was our first client borough. The thriller, Survivor, also stars Milla Jovovich and Emma Thompson.
