Something old and something new

Woburn Walk strikes a pose in H&M’s new TV ad, featuring models Natasha Poly, Liu Wen and Liya Kebede.

FilmFixer worked with the production company to consult every business and resident in the historic Camden street, and to invite some businesses to join in the shoot.

We were impressed at how well the consultation and engagement process was implemented. Working closely with the local traders’ association, compensation was arranged for each business, along with a higher fee to those who invited the team to dress their windows or film inside their premises. In addition, a donation was made to the local residents’ association.

The commercial aired for the first time this week – showing Woburn Walk off at its glamorous best. Two hundred years old and still gorgeous, its Georgian facades formed probably London’s first purpose-built shopping precinct.

Take a look here at how Dickensian London, dressed with a few New York fire hydrant and parking meter props, meets the new season’s look.
