This month we’ve been fixing locations in Lewisham for a new TV film drama, Babylon, being directed by Danny Boyle. We have to admit this has been one of our favourite productions so far this year to work on.

Starring Brit Marling, James Nesbitt and James Robinson, Babylon follows the characters in a modern police force.

In addition to being a great crew for us to work with, Danny Boyle himself came along and met residents in person to talk through the impact they could expect during filming. As you can imagine, the Lewisham locals found this extremely reassuring.

And, on top of this, the director agreed to give residents some more time, by speaking at the Horniman Museum about his experiences as the artistic director for the opening ceremony of last year’s London Olympic Games.
