Catastophe is back for its third season on Tuesday night – and the filming that went on was anything but.
This time around Islington was put to work for the comedy, with scenes filmed in Jessop Court and Graham Street, then along the path to the canal.
You’ll see the characters walking and talking along Remington Street, Haversack Street and Coombs Street. You’ll find them inside the Island Queen pub on Noel Road and Dingly Place, as well as in Southwark’s Blue Fin Building.
FilmFixer manages the film office service for Islington and Southwark. FilmFixer director Karen Everett says, “This five-star comedy was very classy. The production made a donation to the Friends of Graham Street Park to say thanks for having them in the neighbourhood.
“And all the scenes were filmed very quickly unobtrusively. We’re really looking forward to catching up with Rob and Sharon – especially as we already know a fourth series has been commissioned.”
Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney who write and star in the show have won the BAFTA TV writers’ award for best comedy.
